How to protect vineyards from burns with the DISPAB multifunctional system
Due to the ongoing climate change, characterised by rising maximum temperatures and increased sunshine, the occurrence of burns is becoming more and more frequent.
Generally, burns on bunches of grapes becomes evident in the warmer months, when the intense action of the sun’s rays becomes evident, in conjunction with prolonged periods of clear skies and a sudden rise in temperatures.
Under these conditions, it is therefore necessary to preserve the grapes, allowing the bunch to develop and ripen properly, while at the same time guaranteeing high quality standards of the product obtained.
The DISPAB protection system generates a change in the microclimate at bunch level, which is thus less exposed to the action of the sun and its consequent effects.
Besides protecting the bunches, this causes a slowing down of the phenological cycle and, consequently, of the ripening and harvest date.
